The BC Hospitality Foundation (BCHF) offers various avenues for you to get involved and contribute to our mission of assisting hospitality workers facing financial crisis due to health-related issues. Whether you're a passionate individual, a business owner, or a corporation, there are numerous ways to lend your support, from participating in fundraising events to making donations or volunteering your time. Volunteer
Volunteers are the heart of any successful charitable organization. With our reliable, passionate volunteers, the BCHF can ensure financial support is available to people in our industry.
You can help with our signature events by participating on a committee and helping year-round or helping on the day of the event. Some people do both! This can be in various capacities from securing sponsors to hosting the registration table. Whatever you want to do, we can make it happen.
Volunteer opportunities exist throughout the year at the BCHF’s various events. Jobs include event registration, working the coat check, and sharing information at trade show booths. The main qualification is a great attitude and the desire to help the industry’s charity. Join us.

Fundraise
If you are interested in helping us raise funds to be a reliable source of critical financial support for BC hospitality and tourism workers facing a health challenge, you can hold an event and donate the proceeds of the event to us.
Charity of Choice
Selecting the BC Hospitality Foundation as your charity of choice means aiding individuals facing immediate financial challenges. On average, beneficiaries receive $5,000 in support. Partners engaged in this initiative receive tax receipts and are recognized as fundraising allies for BCHF. Elevate your support by displaying the Charity of Choice logo on your website and committing to channel your charitable gifts to the Foundation for a minimum of two years. Contributions can be made through various channels, including payroll deduction, monthly gifts, product campaigns, or sponsorship of our events or scholarships such as the Vancouver Golf Tournament, Victoria Golf Tournament, or the Spirit of Hospitality Lottery. Join us in making a meaningful difference in the lives of those in the hospitality industry.
Employee Matching
Our Workplace Giving Program empowers hospitality industry workers to donate as little as a dollar or two from each paycheck – an amount they likely won't even notice – yet it generates a significant revenue stream for our charity. Employees who contribute $25 or more over the year will receive a tax receipt. Payroll deductions offer a seamless method to support the BC Hospitality Foundation (BCHF), benefiting employees by eliminating the hassle and expense of writing and mailing personal checks or making online donations. It also allows charitable gifts to be spread evenly throughout the year. Additionally, consider exploring employer matching campaigns to amplify the impact of your contributions.
