Working together to build the future of our industry, the BC Hospitality Foundation is proud to announce the winners of the 2017 Sommelier Scholarships, presented at Celebrating Excellence: the 14th Annual Awards lunch on February 17, part of the Vancouver International Wine Festival.

This year’s winners are:

Kaela Augustine (Chambar), Kristi Linneboe (L’Abattoir), Maude Renaud-Brisson (Chambar), and Dawn Schultz (West Restaurant).

The BCHF Sommelier Scholarships are sponsored by Okanagan Crush Pad and Authentic Wine and Spirits Merchants. These scholarships are a mentorship program designed to further individual study in wine education. Up to four $1,000 scholarships are awarded every year.
