Vancouver International Wine Fest 2014

The Vancouver International Wine Festival, Canada’s premier wine event, took place in Vancouver from February 24 to March 2, 2014. This year’s theme country was France with a global focus on all things bubbly. The festival featured 1750 wines from 178 wineries representing 14 different countries. Over 8 days, there were 54 events that attracted over 23,000 wine lovers from across Canada and the world.

The Trade Days Conference program is an integral part of the festival, designed to meet the needs of professionals in the hospitality and food and beverage industries. The BC Hospitality Foundation had a booth available at each of the two trade tastings, on Thursday, February 27 and Friday, February 28, from 2:30-5:00pm at VCC West, Ballroom D (1055 Canada Place Way), where it offered free digital caricatures courtesy of crueltyfreecartoons.com.
