Vancouver Craft Beer Week is proud to announce the BC Hospitality Foundation as their 2019 charitable partner! Proceeds from Vancouver Craft Beer Week’s 10th annual collaboration beer will go to benefit BCHF, with more announcements about this new partnership in the coming weeks.

Celebrating 10 years of craft beer and craft culture, Vancouver Craft Beer Week (VCBW) has become the most anticipated beer and cider festival in Western Canada, voted Vancouver’s “Social Event of the Year” at the 2016 and 2018 Golden Owl Awards, Best Beer Festival at the 2018 Growler Awards, and 6 time Georgia Straight Golden Plate winner for Best Beer Festival. VCBW has evolved from Canada’s first-ever craft beer week into a cultural engine that showcases music, food, art, and craft beer at events across the city starting the last Friday in May every year. VCBW 2019 kicks off on Friday, May 31, continuing throughout the week with events across the city, culminating with the VCBW Festival at the historic PNE Fairgrounds on Saturday, June 8, and Sunday, June 9, where more than 100 craft breweries and cideries will be pouring 300+ beers and ciders.

Join the VCBW Festival Team – Volunteer!

VCBW is currently recruiting volunteers. There are volunteer opportunities for Brewers Assistants, Front Gate and Check In, Greeters, Pouring Assistants and more. When you join the VCBW volunteer family,  you’ll get a Volunteer T-Shirt, a ticket to a day at the festival, and of course, an invite to the VCBW Volunteer appreciation party in July, among other perks. Sunday, June 9 is the unofficial designated industry day at the VCBW Festival at the PNE Fairgrounds. At the VCBW Festival you’ll have access to over 300 craft beers and ciders from around BC, as well as those pouring with The United States Brewers Association, who bring along 30+ beers, some of which have never been poured in Canada. In addition to all these delicious beverages there will be 2 stages of music (lineup to be announced soon), over 15 food trucks, live art installations, games and more.
