Recently Christine Coletta, BCHF Treasurer, presented a cheque to Penticton’s Terry Folkestead one of the BCHF latest recipients. The cheque presentation took place at Okanagan Crush Pad Winery in Summerland, BC.
Terry, owner operator of Green Beanz Cafe, is a recent kidney transplant recipient. On Valentines’s night 2013 a fundraiser was held in Penticton and over $8,000 was raised. The BCHF pledged to match funds raised up to $3000.
