Tourism Vancouver names BC Hospitality Foundationas first official charitable partnerVancouver, BC (August 9, 2013): The BC Hospitality Foundation (BCHF) is pleased to announce that Tourism Vancouver has chosen the BCHF as its first official charitable partner. Tourism Vancouver will provide access to various marketing channels and work with the Foundation to find new and innovative ways to enhance its profile within the tourism industry.
In keeping with its new charity policy, Tourism Vancouver’s support of the foundation and future charitable initiatives is designed to create a more vibrant and diverse community for those who live and visit the city.

The mandate of the BCHF is closely aligned with our new charity policy which focuses on philanthropic endeavours that support the growth and diversity of the region’s tourism industry. The BC Hospitality Foundation offers assistance to individuals within the hospitality community who are coping with financial crises arising from health or medical conditions.
Tourism Vancouver’s focus is on building exceptional customer relationships with meeting planners, travel influencers, travel media and independent tourists. The organization’s brand essence is about “exceeding expectations.”
