Graphic Design Scholarship in Memory of Emily Sheane

Emily Sheane was working at Joe Fortes while studying graphic design at BCIT when her life was cut short in March of 2016. With the consent of her family, Emily’s employer, Joe Fortes Seafood and Chop House, along with Moraine Estate Winery, established an annual $1500 scholarship in her memory.

The scholarship is open to individuals currently enrolled, or recently completed, BCIT’s Graphic Design program (part-time or full-time) and working in the hospitality business to support themselves and their education.

REWIEWING PERIOD: Student nominated by Dean at BCIT Graphic Design Program

CHEQUE PRESENTATION: Winner will be contacted and cheques presented

Special Considerations

Winners are expected to work in British Columbia in the hospitality industry for at least 6 months while completing their Graphic Design Program

You are NOT eligible to receive this scholarship two consecutive years
