Rising Star Dinner Series Supports the BCHF

Monogram ‘Pop Up’ Dinner Series host, Mijune Pak.

With young chefs blazing new trails – there has never been a more exciting time to dine in Vancouver. For three nights only – global culinary expert, and longstanding BCHF advocate Mijune Pak (aka Follow Me Foodie), is hosting the Monogram Dinner Series featuring rising star chefs at the Monogram Studio in Gastown (253 Columbia Street, Vancouver, BC). The night includes a reception followed by a multi-course dinner with wine pairings.

November 11 – Makoto Ono, hailed as one of Canada’s culinary giants, who is about to open a highly-anticipated Mak N Ming this year.

November 12 – Alex Hon, sous chef of fine dining institution, West, and the winner of this year’s Hawksworth’s Young Chef Scholarship competition.

November 13 – Gus Stieffenhofer-Brandson, sous chef for culinary heavyweight Scott Jaeger at the award-winning The Pear Tree. Gus has recently returned from his stage at Noma in Copenhagen, consistently rated as one of the world’s best restaurants.
