I am very grateful for being selected as one of the recipients of the Greg King Scholarship from BCHF. It has given me the ability to invest further in my culinary studies and work closer towards my dream of opening a pastry shop. Since I was around 8 years old, the baking and pastry arts has always held a special place in my heart. It has allowed me to create unique desserts and baked goods to connect with people, including friends, family, and new people I meet. I am soon to be a student at the Pacific Institute of Culinary arts. Having the help and support of BCHF, it excites me to think of all the upcoming experiences!
