On Monday, October 28 EAT Magazine and Boom + Batten Restaurant/Café are co-hosting Eat the Future.
The theme for this culinary adventure is “what the future may hold” with a dream team of chefs creating imaginative dishes using practices to steward the oceans, celebrate local suppliers and activate the people in our industry who want to make a difference! We recognize the role we, as the culinary community, can play in keeping our food future safe….and tasty.
Online auction goes live September 3 as well with fabulous travel, dining and art packages – including Mary Ploegsma original painting series Tattoo Series 1 working chefs showing off their tattoos.

Only 100 tickets go on sale September 3 for $150 each. Diners will enjoy seven courses, welcome
drinks, wine and beer pairings as well as a unique Bingo game at every table. The silent auction will
run online until 7pm October 28 when all bids close. Except for the private dining room auction for
