January 1, 2020 (Vancouver, BC) – The BC Hospitality Foundation (BCHF) is grateful it will again receive proceeds from a lottery held in conjunction with Tourism Vancouver’s Dine Out Vancouver Festival. From January 1 until midnight on February 2, 2020, BC residents can purchase tickets online.
The lottery’s Grand Prize is a luxury train trip for 2 on the Rocky Mountaineer with return airfare from Calgary from Air Canada. Total trip is valued at nearly $7000.
Other lottery prizes feature amazing culinary and sightseeing experiences right here in the GVRD:
- Be a Tourist in Your Own City includes 2 nights’ accommodation for 2 at the Sutton Place Hotel, brunch at L’Abattoir, dinner at Wildebeest, passes to Fly Over Canada, The Vancouver Aquarium, a visit to Capilano Suspension Bridge and Landsea’s Hop On Hop Off Bus.
- Dine out for a Year offers gift certificates to a dozen top local restaurants.
- Capilano Suspension Bridge passes to the spectacular North Vancouver attraction.

8 tickets for $20
25 tickets for $50
The prize draw will take place on February 3, 2020. The Grand Prize trip must be taken before October 11, 2020.
The BCHF thanks all the prize donors for their generous support! Proceeds from the lottery will help the BCHF continue its charitable work, which includes assisting hospitality workers facing financial crisis due to health conditions, as well as scholarships for students studying in the hospitality field at select BC schools.
