BCHF Welcomes Annabel Aspler

BCHF-Portrait-Annabel(1)The BC Hospitality Foundation is pleased to welcome Annabel Aspler to the team as a project manager. She joined the Foundation in March 2016 and has already helped manage several key BCHF initiatives, including the upcoming (SOLD OUT) 7th annual Dish ‘n Dazzle wine, food and cocktail spectacular. Annabel was born in the UK but has lived in Canada most of her life. As a certified meeting professional, Annabel’s 20+ year career in the hospitality and event industry has provided opportunity to grow relationships, organize events and lead teams across Vancouver to success.
A self-described program perfectionist, logistics expert and deadline junkie, Annabel most recently held the position of meeting & event manager at the Westin Bayshore in Vancouver, where she executed flawless events for a diverse selection of leading brands such as Telus, Lululemon, HSBC, Manulife Financial, KPMG, FIFA Women’s World Cup, Hockey Canada and the Chinese Embassy.
Annabel holds a bachelor’s degree in Arts & Psychology from Carleton University and in her few moments of downtime, she enjoys training for triathlons, running, traveling and spending time with her young family.
Annabel reports to the Foundation’s executive director, Alan Sacks, who shares, “We couldn’t be more thrilled that Annabel chose to join our team. Her proven record of results, strong communication skills, exceptional leadership capabilities, keen eye for detail, along with a firm understanding of the hospitality industry, make her a valuable addition to the Foundation. We look forward to a successful future together.”
