What you need to know:
Applications for the 2016 BC Hospitality Foundation Sommelier Scholarships, sponsored by Okanagan Crush Pad (OCP) and Authentic Wine and Spirits Merchants are open now, until January 20, 2016.
These scholarships are a mentorship program designed to further individual study in wine education. Up to four $1000.00 scholarships are awarded every year. Additionally, OCP annually selects an member of the wine industry to participate in their Okanagan Wine Campus program. As part of the program, the person selected is invited to produce, from start to finish, 100 cases of wine at their facility in Summerland. The proceeds from the sales of this wine are donated to the BCHF Scholarship Fund.
The winners will be announced at the 2016 Vancouver International Wine Festival.
