We would like to see every Hotel, Restaurant and drinking establishment in Victoria participate in any way they can to help our industry’s charity, while having a fantastic day with friends, and celebrating those that have given so much to the Island. You can help by:
§ Register a foursome to play in the tournament – get out and make connections with everyone in our Vancouver Island family.
§ Sponsor holes in the name of someone who we have lost, or dedicate a hole to the Foundation in someone’s name.
§ Donate prizes to the Silent Auction – all proceeds will be given directly to the Foundation, and it’s a great way to promote your product or business.
§ Provide an on-course food or beverage sampling station – showcase your products to industry buyers and tastemakers.
§ Volunteer at the registration desk, help set up, assist the golfers – anything and everything will be welcomed and appreciated!
Over the past six years, the BCHF has supported over 40 people in financial difficulty due to health issues, with over $250,000 provided in support, including beneficiaries from Victoria, Nanaimo, Qualicum Beach, Parksville and Ladysmith.
The BCHF is also supported in partnership with the BCHA (BC Hotel Association), BCRFA (BC Restaurant & Foodservice Association), ABLE (Alliance of Beverage Licencees), BC Lodging and the CRFA (Canadian Restaurant and Foodservices Association).
We are just starting our plea for support, but we believe that this is an important cause for our industry and we are determined to make it a great success. This is a great opportunity for hospitality leaders and companies to give back and help our own.
